The Experience Foundation, with the spaces of Campus X in Chieti, brings a new concept of hospitality to the service of the territory.

“The university should be a place of light, freedom and study” said Benjamin Disraeli (British politician and writer, ed) and should be a hospitable and welcoming place, especially for those who leave home and family to embark on a new path far from your city. Campus X with the Fondazione Experience has decided to bring a new concept of hospitality to Chieti, transforming the old Mediterranean Village, inaugurated on the occasion of the edition of the Mediterranean Games in 2009, in a modern and dynamic student that recalls the style of foreign colleges . The key words, “sharing” and “collaboration”, are the concepts around which the managing director, Ernesto Albanese, and the general manager, Samuele Annibali, have worked to design this structure that, like a small autonomous and organized town, takes advantage of its many spaces to promote the meeting and socializing, putting itself at the service of the territory. The two nine-story towers, characterized by the unmistakable and colorful blue and yellow raster, form the student house of about 270 rooms, which can be rented on a yearly or semi-annual basis, offering all the comforts that make your university stay at the hotel pleasant and unforgettable. inside the Campus. In addition to being a “pet friendly” structure, Campus X has no architectural barriers and makes the University of Annunzio easily reachable within a few minutes by itself. The Campus, being near the Chieti Hospital Center, also has 56 hotel rooms available, boasting a capacity of about 430 beds in total.

“From the beginning, our goal was not to simply manage hotel rooms and accommodations, but to move a new concept of hospitality, investing every year in the improvement of the structure – says Domenico Basile, resident manager of Campus X -. Our aspiration is that this place becomes a center of cultural and intercultural exchanges, through the activities promoted by the territory and by the children “. A restructuring work that has completely changed the image of the structure, providing it with recreational spaces that today are freely available to the territory to be used for social, cultural and artistic purposes. Campus X presents study rooms and reading rooms accessible every day, even to external users, becoming a convenient meeting point for those who want to study even at weekends. The large hall is the hub of university life, serving as a center for socialization and exchange between students and residents. The kitchen makes available to the boys ovens and stoves to cook together and make the time for lunch or dinner an opportunity for sharing and entertainment. In addition to the laundry, the cineforum room, the gym, the restaurant and the play room, with table tennis and billiards, Campus X offers a security service and reception open 24 hours on 24 and pays close attention to the maintenance of the ‘building and the sanitation of all environments respecting the regulations in force. The Experience Foundation, thanks to the physical space of Campus X, intends to plan, collect and bring out ideas and initiatives to then deliver it to the community and the territory.

During the year, the structure hosts and organizes various courses such as language courses, dance courses, acting and provides tutors to help students to take exams or prepare a curriculum vitae. «We are already planning to take advantage of the surrounding green areas, creating a five-a-side football field, a basketball court and a calisthenics field – continues Basile -. In addition, we would also like to create a barbecue area and a rehearsal and recording room. All these spaces can be used free of charge by anyone asking for permission to Campus X ». Fondazione Experience has therefore created a place of innovation making it available to the community and contributing to the growth of the area. In Italy Campus X is also present in Tor Vergata and Bari and, in September 2019, will disembark in Florence and then subsequently land in Turin and Naples. At the time Campus X has stipulated an agreement with Adsu, making available to the places of accommodation for the students winners of two scholarships. Thanks to the experience and professionalism of Domenico Basile in the field of tourism, this student resort allows you to spend the university years, and not only, in the company of colleagues and friends, sharing a unique concept of hospitality and promoting meetings and projects, thanks to equipped spaces that allow students, universities and the territory to collaborate, connect and work together to achieve their goals and plan for the future.
