The structure, the second in Italy after that of Rome Tor Vergata, was built through the Aristotle Fund, a real estate fund promoted by Inpdap specializing in investments in favor of the University Six hundred new beds for university students and young people who need accommodation for a longer or shorter period, but not only.
“CampusX Bari – Terra di Puglia”, the new complex of student residences inaugurated today in via Amendola 184, has been designed to become a “student citadel” that embraces the student’s life at 360 degrees, from real learning, to support activities for the study, without forgetting the fun. After the one inaugurated in Rome Tor Vergata last October, the Bari campus is the second residence for university students realized through the Aristotle Fund, the only Italian real estate fund specializing in investments in favor of the university and scientific research, promoted by INPDAP in 2005 and managed by Fabrica Immobiliare SGR.
Thanks to this investment, totaling 36 million euros, the city of Bari will increase the current offer of student beds by 50%. The structure will be managed by Siram Sì, a professional operator already selected for the management of the Rome Tor Vergata campus and the creator of the “CampusX Italia” brand. On the new campus, all residents, visitors and visitors will be registered and provided with an identification card, the CampusX Card, to be shown at the entrance gate and at the request of the staff. The structure will be monitored by security personnel 24 hours a day and equipped with a video surveillance system.
The complex includes CampusX Sporting, a facility with a 25-meter and 6-lane indoor pool, fitness area and wellness area, which will be open every day from early morning. The price of each bed will be 280 euros including expenses for electricity, water and internet. “A quality housing offer – underlined the president of the Inpdap Paolo Crescimbeni, present at the inauguration ceremony – thanks to which the Inpdap Institute also performs a function of ‘social housing’, because it favors the construction of 600 new beds at the disposal of university students and young people with temporary housing needs, at moderately priced prices, and thus intervenes directly for the benefit of the less well-off classes “.
“It is a very good initiative – declared the Minister for Relations with the Fitto Regions, also present at the event – of which we must acknowledge the Inpdap and the institutional collaboration that has developed”. “I think – he added – that this is an important ceremony not only to take note of the realization, but also to solicit a path in this direction, putting the institutions together with the universities”
