CampusX , a company active in the Student Housing sector, has decided to meet the needs of students staying at its facilities, by applying a discount on rental fees. All those who are unable to return to their accommodation in CampusX, as a result of the prohibitions provided for by the Prime Minister’s Decree of 22 March 2020, will receive a 30% discount on the rental fees for the months of April and May. This is an initiative with an economic value of around 1 million euros.

In this difficult emergency phase, all the residences managed by CampusX have always remained open and have implemented a series of suitable measures to prevent contagions and safeguard students’ health. In addition, to compensate for the necessary restrictions on access to common areas, CampusX has made available to students some virtual sharing services and activities daily, such as online fitness lessons, cooking classes and museum tours.

“For CampusX, student health and safety are paramount. Given the difficulties of the moment and the inability of some students to return to the campus, we voluntarily decided to apply a discount on rental contracts. At the same time, we count that other operators and real estate properties can make their contribution by supporting the Student Housing sector which has experienced rapid development in recent years and which counts on not stopping in front of this emergency. University experience is a fundamental component and can never be virtual. We await the end of this emergency period, so that students can return to normality and classroom lessons as soon as possible, obviously in compliance with the rules «- Samuele Annibali, CampusX General Manager.
